A recent annual family conference was held at Amontay Beach Resort in Nasipit, Agusan Del Norte near Butuan City. The conference director was Dr. Elbert Sana and assisted by Dr. Rodski Estigoy.
A balm for the body, soul and spirit was provided through messages, testimonies, workshops, singing and eating together, cultural presentations, swimming, strolls along the beach and site seeing.
An encouraging sign was the number of youth who attended the conference and the number of younger workshop facilitators. The youth also had a special night to speak their hearts and minds.
Messages included Our Joy and Delight by Dr. Edwin Cruzado, Worship and Refuge in the Home by Ed Jimenez, Find Us Faithful by Dr. Paul Pasicolan, and Refreshing Families with God’s Abundance by Elbert. Testimonies were presented by Dr. Rex Cruz, Dr. Teody Solsoloy, TJ Pasicolan, and Nars Lozada.
The workshops covered a range of needs for old and young alike. Topics included Partners of Faith in Parenting by Dr. Ric and Marie Soriano, Cyber Passion of Today by Wilson and Letty Irizari, Growing Old Yet Lovely by Relly and Daisy Miguel, No Place Like Home by Gene and Virgie Tolentino, Health and Wellness for the Kingdom by Rodski, Young Professionals in Love and Work by Naomi Ubiña, Our Home Altar by Maxie and Joyleen Tiguman, Healing Damaged Emotions by Jerry and Alma Francisco, and Balancing Act Amidst Pressures by Bong and Jodel Tabada.
